Eugene "Gene" Ewert

Eugene Ewert, of Cleveland, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 surrounded by his loving wife and children.  Gene was born June 18, 1945 to the late Marie and George Ewert in Jersey City, New Jersey. He retired as a Captain with the Sebastian, Florida Police Department and was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection of Sautee Nacoochee, Georgia. He is survived by his wife Lin Ewert, his sons Thomas and William Ewert, his daughter and son in law, Lee and Stephen Duggar and his grandchildren, Christopher, Hannah, and Tyler Ewert. A celebration of Gene’s life is scheduled for 1:00 PM Saturday, November 25, 2017 at the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection with Father Scott Kidd officiating.
