Eugene Turner

Eugene Turner, age 70 of Cleveland, went home to be with The Lord on Sunday, February 2, 2025. Mr. Turner was born June 15, 1954, to Girlie Ray Turner and the late Kermit Turner. Eugene was a minister and preached the Gospel for Whole Word Ministry for many years. He loved his family and enjoyed fishing. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death in by his sister, Pam Blue and grandson, Tim Turner. Survivors include his wife of 18 years, Wanda Watson; son, Darrell Turner; mother, Girlie Turner; stepchildren, Kenny Combs; Stacey and Russ Couch; grandchildren, Madison Helton, Kianna Combs, Ashlyn Couch, Lynzie Combs, Skye Combs and Tyler Turner; sister, June Thomas; sister and brother-in-law, Vickie and Rex Dowdy; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 PM Thursday, February 6, 2025, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Ricky Rider and the Rev. Larry Morrison will officiate.
