Eunice Dorella Edge

Eunice Dorella Edge, age 89 of Cleveland, passed away Monday, June 3, 2013 at Gold City Convalescent Home. Mrs. Edge was born August 2, 1923 in Turner County, GA to the late John T. and Eliza Lucinda Davis. She was a homemaker and a member of Tesnatee Baptist Church. Mrs. Edge was preceded in death by her husband Bartow Edge, son Johnny Edge, sisters Nora Barrett, Lena Hicks, Estell Davis, Florence Carter, brothers Herman Davis, Joe Davis and Robert Davis. Survivors include her granddaughter and husband, Tammy Edge Soles and Jason Soles, Dahlonega; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jack and Audrey Davis, Cleveland; J.W. and Polly Davis, Cleveland; 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 5, 2013 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Dave Fortner will officiate. Interment will follow at Tesnatee Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
