Eunice Grace Ledford

Eunice Ledford, age 83 of Dahlonega, passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2019. Mrs. Ledford was born on January 3, 1936, in Lumpkin County, to the late Wesley and Martha Lou Etris Dockery. She worked as a self-employed chicken farmer and was a member of Town Creek Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Eunice is preceded in death by sister and brother-in-law, Bobbi and J T Garrison; brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Sarah Thomas Dockery; brothers, Doris Dockery and Horace Dockery; sister-in-law, Mae Garrett Dockery. Survivors include her husband, John Ledford; sons, Jerry Ledford and Wayne Ledford; daughters and sons-in-law, Joan and Arthur Fitts and Wanda and Doug Caldwell; grandchildren, April Caldwell, Ken Caldwell, Victor Ledford, Devin Ledford, Misty Ledford, and Kyle Fitts; great-grandchildren, Clay Burnett, Katherine Brock, Denae Brock, Alyssa Caldwell, Kaylee Caldwell, and Zoe Caldwell; sister and brother-in-law, Loudean and Tommy England; brothers and sisters-in-law, Doyal and Linda Dockery and Billy and Betty Dockery; brother, Dorsey Dockery; sisters-in-law, Betty Jean Dockery and Susie Ledford; many nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Friday, May 17, 2019 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Darin Cain and the Rev. Phillip Robinson will officiate. Interment will follow at Town Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Kris Butler officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
