Eva McBride

Eva Deniece McBride, age 70, of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2026.

Mrs. McBride was born on October 22, 1955, in Albany, Georgia, to the late Frank and Pat Highsmith Champion. She worked in banking and finance and was a member of Cleveland Worship Center. In addition to her parents, Eva was preceded in death by her sisters, Gloria Baxter and Sharon Groemminger (Ed “Marty”).

Survivors include her husband, Dale McBride, Cleveland; son, Mike McBride (Christy); daughter, Kristy Wieder (Nick); son, John McBride (Heidi); grandchildren, Skye Dean McBride (Charlie), Jake Love (Zoe), Wynter McBride, Rachel Love, Autumn McBride, and Isaak McBride.

Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Friday, March 27, 2026, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Marc Turner will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home, prior to the funeral service.
