Evelyn "Granny Mooney" Irene Mooney

Evelyn Irene Jones "Granny" Mooney of Cleveland, passed away on Friday, June 27, 2025. She was born September 19, 1925 to William Albert and Earline Elizabeth Jones in Clem, Carroll County, GA. Mrs. Mooney was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Roy E. "Papa" Mooney, and their sons Steven Edward and Mark Andrew Mooney. She is survived by their sons Don (Sandra), Rick, Ken, and their daughter Susan Accola. She leaves behind their grandchildren Susan Cooke, John Mooney, Chris (Caroline) Mooney, Alissa (John) Oliver, Mark Mooney, Melisa (Joel) Fincher, Matt Mooney, Candace Mooney, TJ (Chantelle) Accola, and Paul Accola. Their great-grandchildren are Ashton Mooney, Yuka Akiyama-Lee, Amelia Mooney, Jacob Fincher, Carlton Garrett, Sierra Williams, Selena Williams, Carmen Segovia, Micky Roman and Courtney Smith, and multiple great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29, 2025, from 4 until 6 PM. Funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30, 2025, at 3 PM in the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home.
