Evva Dockery Adams, age 74, of Cleveland died Friday, May 18, 2007 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness.
She was born June 16, 1932 in Clayton County to the late Garland and Eva Rogers Dockery. She was also preceded in death by a son, Earl Kolke: step-son, Ricky Adams: six brothers and sisters, Bernice, Willie, Blanche, John, Ernest and Garland.
She was a bookkeeper and an avid bingo player and a member of Charles Smithgall Humane Society.
Survivors include her husband, Clyde Adams, Cleveland; son and daughter-in-law:
Scott and Margaret Kolke, Tallahasse, FL; grandchildren, Brinson Kolke, Preston Kolke, Richard Earl Kolke, all of Tallahassee, FL; stepson and daughter-in-law, William Clyde Jr. and Joann Adams, Winston; stepson, Steven Adams, Spring Cyprus, TX; step-daughters and sons-in-law, Vicki & Fred Hindsman, Power Springs, Joyce and Ronnie Wilson, Atlanta, Sally and Ashley Buckner, Winston; sisters, Gladys Pendino, Gainesville, Betty Puckett, Ellenwood; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, May 22, 2007 from the chapel of Barrett Funeral Home with the Rev. Dave Fortner officiating. Interment will follow in
The Rogers Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
