Ezekiel Harrison Williams

Mr. Ezekiel Williams, age 85, of Gainesville, formerly of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2020. “Zeke” Williams was born in Knoxville, TN to the late Harrison and Carrie Margaret Robbins Williams. He served his country in the US Army and was a sales representative. “Our father was a devoted Christian and a man of God. He loved his family and devoted his life to providing for his family and helping countless people throughout his life. His twinkling blue eyes and warm honest smile was never forgotten by those fortunate to know him. He loved to fish, he loved to travel and he loved people. His life was his testament. He will be missed but never forgotten and he lives on through the lives he touched.” Survivors include wife, Joanne Williams, Gainesville, formerly of Cleveland; sons and daughters-in-law, Brian and Patricia Williams, Martinsville, VA, and Mark and Janet Williams, Buford; granddaughter, Mary Beth Williams; and great-grandchildren, Ashton, Raven, and Weston Tomlinson. Private entombment services are scheduled at Yonah View Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Bucky Erwin and Rev. David Gilleland will officiate.
