Fannie Marie Gailey

Fannie Marie Gailey, age 73, of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2023. Ms. Gailey was born on April 29, 1949, in Clermont, Georgia, to the late Jessie Myers and Estelle Abernathy Lee. She was an avid gardener and loved to piddle. Marie was retired from Banks County Government and was a member of Wauka Mountain Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Eugene Myers, William Abernathy, Stella Smith, Lois Chambers, Ralph Myers and Richard Myers. Survivors include her children, Rodney and Jessica Barrett, Tina and John Freeman, Tammy and Vernon Sullens, Tabitha and Casey Lee; grandchildren, Kristina and Alex Dyer, Shelby and Derick Story, Justin Barrett, Trevor Barrett, Bailey Barrett, Clay Brock, Cody Lee; 3 great-granddaughters; 2 great-grandsons and siblings, Jessie Mae Murphy, Kathy Seymour, James Myers. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 21, 2023, from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Lamar Lee and the Rev. Chris Swan will officiate. Interment will follow at Wauka Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery.
