Mr. Ferrell Estee Nation, age 52 of Clarkesville passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at BJC Hospital. Mr. Nation was born in Demorest, Georgia on January 11, 1958 to the late Lois Irene Standridge and William George Nation. He was a self employed carpenter and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include: wife: Gwen Posey Nation, Lula; daughter: Amy Turner, Lula; step daughter: Hannah Grider, Lula; sister and brother in law: Betty & Marshall Carnes, Hollywood, Deborah Nation & Johnny McCoy, Lula; sisters: Christine Free, Gillsville, Barbara Nation, Lula; brother and sister in law: George & Janna Nation, Hollywood; 5 nephew & nieces and several great nieces & nephews. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, February 18, 2010 at the Free Family Cemetery with the Rev. Buster Autry and Rev. Scotty Poole officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the funeral home prior to the service.
