Flora Myrtle West

Flora Myrtle West age 93 of Cleveland went to be with our Lord on November 13, 2013 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Mrs. West was the daughter of the late Doss and Sallie Anderson. She was owner and operator of the West Drapery Shop in Cleveland and was one of the founding members of the Shoal Creek Goodwill Circle. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lester West, son, Wayne West, brothers, Frank Anderson, Clarence Anderson, Thalmer Anderson, Lester Anderson and Grady Anderson. Survivors include daughter and son in law, Lavon and Thomas Dyer, Cleveland; son and daughter in law, Michael and Cindy Ramey, Cleveland; daughter in law, Frances West, Cleveland; granddaughters, Shanda McConnell and Candice Dyer; grandson, Cody Ramey; great grandsons, Andrew Sullens, Isaiah Sullens, Brandon McConnell and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday November 16, 2013 at Shoal Creek Baptist Church. Dr. Joe Vernon and the Rev. Chris Anderson will officiate. Interment will be in the Church Cemetery.
