Florence Hoover Pickett

Mrs. Florence Josephine Pickett, 95 of Cleveland passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness. Mrs. Pickett was born on February 01, 1915 to the late Johanna Burke and Martin Hoover. She was preceded in death by her husband: Ivan Pickett, sons: Donald Pickett and Marion Pickett; grandson: Steven Lucero, sisters: Viola and Marcelline; brothers: Leonard and Lawrence. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Paul The Apostle Catholic Church. Survivors include: sons and daughters in law: Leroy and Pat Pickett, Flowery Branch, GA; Jerry & Judy Pickett, Clarkesville, GA; daughters and sons in law: Barbara & Andy Pellerito, Cleveland, GA; Irene & Raul Serna, Orange, CA; grandchildren: Lee Garner, Bruce Garner, both of Flowery Branch, GA; Stacy Whitfield, Bethlehem, GA; Valerie Lucero, Gainesville, GA; Sarah Pellerito, Gainesville, GA; Andy Pellerito, Jr., Tustin, CA; Jamie Pickett, Tulsa, OK; Christi Spenser, Highland Ranch, CO; Billy Budd, Enid, OK; Christi Hubbard, Commerce, GA; James Hubbard, Commerce, GA and Dawn Lewallan, Homer, GA; sisters: Marcella Hogan, Topeka, KS; and Lola Donigan, Green Leaf, KS; 12 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral Mass will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, May 14, 2010 at St. Paul The Apostle Catholic Church with Father Rudd officiating.
