Frances Howington

Frances Cleo Howington, age 90 of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2018. Mrs. Howington was born in Jackson County, Georgia to the late Herman Clark and Cleo Smallwood Clark. She was employed at Leece-Neville for 20 years and was a member at Central Baptist Church in Gainesville.   In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Verlon Howington, her brothers Harold Clark, Hershel “Smiley” Clark, Bill Clark, Cleveland “Cleve” Clark, and Ed Clark. She is also preceded in death by her sisters Montine Collins, Winifred “Wimp” Newell, and Cynthia Samantha Kimbrell.   Mrs. Howington is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.   A graveside service will be held at 3:00 P.M Sunday, December 23, 2018 at Alta Vista Cemetery in Gainesville, Georgia with the Rev.
