Frances Thompson

Frances Thompson, age 77 of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Friendship Health and Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Thompson was born January 15, 1938 in Cleveland to the late Millard and Estelle Jackson Craven. She was a type setter for the White County News and was a member of Zion Interdenominational Church. Frances was preceded in death by her husband John L. Thompson Sr., brother Omer Craven, sisters, Etta Martin and Ola Baker. Survivors include her daughter, Joy Harper and Ken Emig, Cleveland; sons and daughters-in-law, John L. Thompson Jr. and Sandy Thompson, Alto; Jeffery Lee Thompson and Melissa Thompson, Homer; grandchildren, Bradley C. Thompson, Michael Thompson, Grace Thompson, Will Minor, Tucker Chambers, Cherish Rae-Ann Thompson. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Zion Interdenominational Church. The Rev. J.R. Elrod will officiate. Interment will follow at Old Zion Cemetery.
