Frankie Ashmore

Mr. Frankie Monroe Ashmore, age 77, of Fitzgerald, formerly of Lumpkin County, died on Friday, July 4, 2008 at Dorminy Medical Center in Fitzgerald, GA. Mr. Ashmore was born on October 03, 1930 to the late Dozier and Leila Ona Lance Ashmore and was also preceded in death by two brothers, George Edward Ashmore and Jewell Ashmore. He worked as a small engine repairman and was a member of Free Chapel Worship Center. He is survived by nieces and their spouses: Lucy and Stephen Turner, Talmo, Susan and Ed Kerns, Lumpkin County, Deborah and H.M. Dispain, Murrayville; niece: Ann Hall, Cleveland; nephew: George Edward (Eddie) and Helen Ashmore, Banks County; 10 great nieces and nephews and 17 great-great nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 2pm Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at Mt Zion Baptist Church #2 with the Rev. Dean Bryant Officiating. Visitation will be from 11am-1pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.
