Franklin Dee Brackett

Franklin Dee Brackett, age 77 of Cleveland, passed away Friday, February 11, 2011 at his residence. Mr. Brackett was born November 10, 1933 to the late Grady and Lula Guffie Brackett. He was preceded in death by his sister, Margaret Gladon, brothers Ray Brackett and Darrell Brackett. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Jessie Mae Brackett, Cleveland; daughter, Sheila Pearson, Cleveland; sisters, Enda Conley, Murphy, NC; Ive Conley, Cathrine Whitiker, both of Andrews, NC; Lucille Cook, Eva Tip Whitiker, both of Gastonia, NC; Fay Stewart, Lanoria, NC; grandson, James Cody Pearson, Cleveland. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 PM Tuesday, February 15, 2011 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. William Baker will officiate. Interment will follow in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12-3 PM Tuesday prior to the service.
