Fred Harold Anderson

Fred Harold Anderson, age 77, of Murrayville, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2025. Mr. Anderson was born on January 8, 1948, in Cleveland, Georgia, to the late Ted and Tempie Aree Sullens Anderson. Harry was a truck driver and loved listening to country music and Nascar races. He also enjoyed talking on the phone to his friends. In addition to his parents, Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by his siblings, Travis Anderson, Louise Fraiser, Elmer Anderson, Geneva Gooch, and Owen Anderson. Survivors include his wife of 17 years, Myra Anderson; son and daughter-in-law, Kevan and Celia Anderson; sister, Laverne Simpson; sisters and brothers-in-law, Wanda Watson and Eugene Turner, and Sue and Cecil Abernathy; brother and sister-in-law, Arlis and Kay Anderson; special nephew, Roger Gooch; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. The family would like to give a special thanks to Lori Kasack for her love and care during this time. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Sunday, January 19, 2025, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Baptist Church #2. The family will receive friends from 3:00 – 5:00 P.M.
