Fred William Dean

Mr. Fred William Dean, age 87 of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, March 04, 2008 at Lanier Park Hospital. Mr. Dean was born in White county, the son of the late Wiley W. and Mabel Thompson Dean. He was an automotive technician and was a member of Union Grove Holiness Church. Mr. Dean was a veteran of the U. S. Navy, a member of the American Legion for 40 years and a honorary member of the White County Fire Department Station #2. Survivors include his wife: Gladys Pilgrim Dean, Cleveland; son: Gary Dean; son and daughter-in-law: Danny and Sherry Dean, Cleveland; brother: Joe Dean, Gainesville; 4 grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, March 6, 2008 at Union Grove Holiness Church. The Rev. Paul Flynn and Rev. Gary Heffner will officiate. Interment will follow in Chattahoochee Baptist Church Cemetery. Military honors will be provided by The White County Honor Guard.
