Gale Richard Carlson

Mr. Gale Richard Carlson, age 93, of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2022. Mr. Carlson was born in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa the son of the late Hilmer and Edith Matthews Carlson. He was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Wilkerson. Mr. Carlson was a retired Purchasing Director for the city of Oldsmar, Florida and a member of Cleveland United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Rajean Carlson, Cleveland; sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Nita Carlson, Newport Richey, FL., Jerry and Jan Carlson, Helen, GA, and Scott and Caron Carlson, New Port Richey, FL; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Shannon Rhodes will officiate.
