Garland Junior Gooch

Mr. Garland Junior Gooch, age 80 of Cleveland passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Gooch was born on April 15, 1929 to the late Garland Andrew and Dellar Harkins Gooch. Mr. Gooch was also preceded in death by a son, Randy Gooch. He was a poultry farmer and a member of Mossy Creek Baptist Church where he served as a Senior Deacon since March 9, 1991. Survivors include his wife of 52 years: Martha Gooch, Cleveland; daughter: Elaine Loggins, Cleveland; daughter and son in law: Tammy and Mike Fuller: Cleveland; son Bobby Gooch, Cleveland; son and daughter in law: Michael and Rita Gooch, Cleveland; grandchildren: Stoney Smith, Stacy & Emily Gooch, Amanda & Eric Nix, Amy Sutton, Megan Smith and Shane Gooch; 6 great grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday October 30, 2009 from Mossy Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Irvin, Rev. Steve Merck, Rev. Rondal Garmon and Rev. Donald Fuller at graveside.
