Garvice Paul Elliott

Mr. Garvice Paul Elliott age 86 of Cleveland passed away Friday April 3, 2009 at a relative’s residence following an extended illness. Mr. Elliott was born on April 13, 1922 in White County to the late Paul Napoleon and Bessie Blalock Elliott. He was preceded in death by his sisters Lorene Thurmond and Alice Head. Mr. Elliott was a veteran serving in the Army during WWII. He was an accountant and a member of the Cleveland Worship Center. Survivors include his wife Beulah Mae Elliott, Cleveland; Daughter Rebecca Young, Gainesville; Son Stephen Elliot, San Jose, California; Sisters Beatrice McAllister, Demorest; Mildred Elliott, Cleveland; Brother Farrell Elliott, Cleveland; Grandchildren Brandon Elliott, Los Angeles, California; Jason Elliott and Chad Elliott both of San Jose, California; Great-Grandchildren, Amber Elliott and Kayla Mae Elliott both of San Jose, California. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 A.M. Monday, April 6,2009 from the Cleveland Worship Center. The Rev. Junior Sosebee, Rev. Hugh Skelton, and the Rev. Marc Tuner will officiate. Entombment will follow at Yonah View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5-8 P.M. on Sunday at the funeral home.
