Gary Howe

Gary Howe, 58, of Demorest, GA, passed Friday January 3, 2014, at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX, after battling Melanoma. Gary was born November 25, 1955, in Atlanta, GA, the son of late Emma Ellen Morrison of Blairsville, GA. In addition to his mother he was also preceded in death by his brother Terry Howe. Gary joined the White County Water Authority in 2001, as the Director of the White County Water Authority, a position he continued until his death. He served the county with dignity and honor. Gary is survived by his two children, Blake and Ashley Howe, his finance' Lenore Coleman, four sisters, Linda Gray and her husband Tim, of Seattle, WA, Janice Hall of Braselton, GA, Wanda Kavanagh and her husband Mark, of Braselton, GA, Annette Spratlin of Jefferson, GA, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX, in memory of John Gary Howe.
