Geneva Elliott

Geneva Elliott, age 87, of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2023. Mrs. Elliott was born on July 27, 1936, in Young Harris, Georgia, to the late Pete and Ola Bryson Thomas. She worked as a seamstress for Babyland General. In addition to her parents, Geneva was preceded in death by her husband, William Farrell Elliott; daughter, Tammy Elliott; son, Bill Elliott; and sister, Geraldine Alexander. Survivors include her children and their spouses, Diane Fain, Deavie and Benny Sims, Teresa Williamson, and Eric Elliott; grandchildren and their spouses, Josh and Kendal Elliott, Dustin and Christy Fain, Jessica and Kyle Johns, Casei Whitlock, Wendi and Lance Martin, Shaylee Sims, Landon Elliott, Paisley Elliott, and Chloee Elliott; siblings, Janice Humphries, Rocky Thomas, Roger Thomas, Dennis Thomas, Marvin Thomas, and Bud Thomas; 15 great-grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Monday, August 14, 2023, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Marc Turner will officiate. Interment will follow in Gateway Memory Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home, prior to the funeral service.
