Geneva Inez Russell

Geneva (Genny) Russell of Cleveland, born in Lavonia in 1932, passed away peacefully on Thursday December 24, 2020. She was a graduate of Piedmont Nursing College in Atlanta in 1953. She worked many years as an RN in White County mental health. Her hobbies included: cooking, gardening, sewing, crafts and travelling. Survivors include her sisters, Mary Dillard and Frances Slaton: her daughters, Jacki Andersen and Kim Campbell: 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grand children. She also had 2 step sons, Wayne and Joe Russell and 3 step grand children. A celebration of life will be held for family and friends at Stephens Memorial Gardens in Toccoa once the pandemic subsides.
