Genevieve Trammell, age 64 of Sautee-Nacoochee, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2011 at Gateway Health and Rehab. Ms. Trammell was born August 10, 1947 in White County to the late Elijah and Carolyn Cleveland Trammell. She was a homemaker and a member of Bean Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Tiffany and Rev. D.T. Jackson, Gainesville; sons and friends, Eland Mahaffey and Linda Lee, Buford; Carolos Lowery and Colleen Mataro, Sautee; Willie L. Sutton Jr. and Tammy Winkler, Flowery Branch; daughters, Minacha Mahaffey, Sautee; Gina Lowery, Sautee; sister, Rebecca Trammell, Sautee; brothers, Butch Trammell, Sautee; Vernon Trammell, Sautee; aunt and uncle, Charlene and Glenn Dorsey, Indianapolis, IN; aunt, Patsy Mitchell, Milwaukee, WI; special friends, Lou Nell Sutton, Cleveland, Barbara J. Trammell; 15 grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 30, 2011 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. D.T. Jackson will officiate.
