George Dennis Carter

Mr. George Dennis Carter, age 50, of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness. Mr. Carter was born on April 25, 1959 in Habersham County. He was preceded in death by his father George Luther Carter. He was a saw miller and of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Carter, Cleveland; step son, Robert Underwood, Cleveland; mother, Margie Southern, Cleveland; sister, Glenda Barrett, Cleveland; brother, Darryl Carter, Cleveland; several nephews and other relatives. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 A.M. Saturday, September 5, 2009 from the chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Kenneth Taylor and The Rev. Dennis Taylor will officiate. Interment will follow in Liberty Baptist Church Community Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-9 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
