George Michael Lasko

George Michael Lasko, age 88, passed away Monday February 22, 2021. Mr. Lasko was born on May 3, 1932 to the late George Lasko Sr. and Margaret Pivinck Lasko. Mr. Lasko was a fishing guide boat captain, a self-employed painter, a Korean War Veteran and attended Union Grove Congregational Holiness Church. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Joyce and children, Beth Jarrard and Michael Lasko. He is survived by his children Carol Hermanson of Florida, Linda Turner of Arkansas, Ginger Bambera of North Carolina, George Bambera of Florida, and Loura Mays of Arizona as well as his caregiver Mildred Meaders along with 11 grandchildren. A graveside service is scheduled for 3PM Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Gateway Memory Park. The Rev. Paul Flynn will officiate. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the graveside service at Barrett Funeral Home.
