George Lloyd Payne

George Lloyd Payne, age 75, of Clermont passed away Thursday, October 21, 2021. Mr. Payne was born December 18, 1945, in Hall County to the late Wayne and Mattie Garrett Payne. George was a sanitation supervisor for Fieldale Corporation for over 50 years. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Payne; son, Terry Lynn Payne; and brother, Paul Payne and Harley Payne. Survivors include his daughter, Teresa Abercrombie, Cleveland; sisters, Lovelle (Jeff) Halsey, Lois Truelove, Linda Ingram, all of Clermont; grandchildren, Justin Ingram, Corey Ingram, Hailey Abercrombie, Dylan Abercrombie and Mattie Abercrombie.
