George Richard Estrella

Mr. George Richard Estrella, age 62 of Cleveland passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2008 at his residence. Born in Fall River, Massachusetts on December 07, 1945, he was the son of the late Antone and Mary Fernandes Estrella. Mr. Estrella was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving his country proudly during Vietnam. He was a very loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be greatly missed. Mr. Estrella was also preceded in death by 1 brother and 4 sisters. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Millie D. Estrella, Cleveland; daughters and son-in-laws, Lisa and Mark Wright, Flowery Branch; Lynn and Johnny Crawford, Gainesville; Laura and Mark Lewallen, Cleveland; grandchildren, Brandi Nix, Roxanna Estrella, Angel Estrella, Michael Crawford, Brian Crawford, Kayla Lewallen, Robert Lewallen, sisters, Kathleen Sylvester, Coral Springs, FL; Janet Estrella, Hallandale Beach, FL; Donald Estrella, New Jersey; and a number of other relatives and friends. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Sunday, June 29, 2008 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Jeff Hutcheson will officiate. Burial will follow in Yonah View Memorial Gardens. Military honors will be provided by the White County Honor Guard and the White County High School Color Guard. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-9 p.m. on Saturday.
