George Lee Watson
March 17, 1927 — April 22, 2021
George Lee Watson, Jr., age 94, of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday, April 22, 2021.
Mr. Watson was born on March 17, 1927, in Morven, Georgia, to the late George Lee Watson, Sr. and Norma Lee Bishop Watson. He was a retired educator and was a member of Church of Christ. George served as chaplain for his local American Legion and served at many hospitals over the years. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving with honors, during World War II and the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his children, grandchildren, sister, and many friends.
Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Gateway Memory Park. Minister Bobby Hall will officiate.
