Gerald Scott

Gerald Wayne Scott, age 80, of Cleveland, passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2026.

Mr. Scott was born on August 9, 1946, in Gadsden, Alabama, to the late John Marvin Scott and Ruby Lois Brown Scott. He was a retired auto mechanic. In addition to his parents, Gerald was preceded in death by his sister, Anita Boutwell.

Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Rondal Gibson, and Tammy and Chad Ramsey; grandchildren, Kaylin Ramsey, Kalob Ramsey, Kyle Spruill, Randall Farmer, Tyler Gibson, and Eric Martin; great-grandchildren, May Farmer, Kross Gibson, Kia Gibson, Lilah Gibson, and Lucas Gibson; sisters, Deborah Snyder and Linda Benjamin; brother, Gene Scott.

A private graveside service will be held at Yonah View Memorial Gardens.
