Gertrude Railling Sheldon

Mrs. Gertrude Julia Railling Sheldon, age 80 of Cleveland, formerly of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2006 at her residence following an extended illness. Born in Midland County, Michigan on November 02, 1926, she was the daughter of the late David and Mary Bellinger Railling. Mrs. Sheldon worked in the Dry Cleaning Business for may years until her retirement. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bertus L. Sheldon, her daughter, Susan Carlton, and special friend, Pete Six. Mrs. Sheldon loved pet D.O.G., fidhing, playing games, and the sunshine. Survivors include her children, Denis and Audrey Turbin, Brant, Michigan; Michael and Lilly Turbin, Harrison, Michigan; Rebecca R. Pearson and Bobby Halle, Cleveland; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild on the way. Mrs. Sheldon’s request was to be cremated and no service is planned at this time. Interment of the remains was held at Oakwood Cemetery, on January 16, 2007 in Saginaw, Michigan.
