Gladys Dewitt Nabers

Gladys DeWitt Nabers, age 98, of Sautee Nacoochee, passed away on Friday, July 7, 2023. Gladys was born on February 3, 1925, in Atlanta, Georgia, to the late James Lewis DeWitt and Willie Lee Berry DeWitt. She was a homemaker, who after caring for her mother began volunteering with the White County Senior Center. She enjoyed reading a good book and loved fine furniture. Gladys had a certain style. She and her late husband Aubrey Nabers Jr. resided in the Skylake community for the past 30 years. Survivors include her son, William Dale Nabers, Brooklyn, NY; sister-in-law, Celeste Douglass, Roswell, GA; a number of nieces and nephews also survive. A celebration of Gladys' life will be held 3:00pm, Sunday, July 23, 2023 at the Sautee Nacoochee Center.
