Glen Cathey

Glen Cathey, age 83, of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2025. Mr. Cathey was born on August 16, 1941, in White County, to the late Frank and Ethelene Westmoreland Cathey Hunter. He was a retired truck driver for Fieldale. In addition to his parents, Glen was preceded in death by his wife, Midge Cathey; daughter, Sissy Cathey Palmer. Survivors include his son, Edwin F. Cathey; son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Felicia Cathey; grandchildren, Lauren Cathey, Miranda Wright, Cierra Moseley, and Joseph Cathey II; 8 great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 P.M. Sunday, March 2, 2025, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Doug Merck will officiate. Interment will follow in Mt.
