Gordon David Maddox

Mr. Gordon David Maddox, age 66, of Cleveland, passed away Monday, March 30, 2009 at Embracing Hospice following an extended illness. Mr. Maddox was born in St. Louis Missouri the son of the late Ledoux and Marie Long Maddox. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp serving in the Vietnam War. Mr. Maddox was a Captain Pilot for Pan American Airlines and a member of Cleveland First Presbyterian Church. Survivors include his son and daughter in law, Brent and Jodi Maddox, Cleveland; grandson, Colton Maddox; granddaughters, Chloe Maddox, Charlsie Maddox, Chandler Maddox; sister and brother in law, Nancy and John Erickson, Grand Island, FL; sister, Starr Anaradian, Leesburg, FL; special friend, Marsha Reid, Canton. Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday April 2, 2009 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Chris Anderson will officiate. Inurnment will be at Yonah View Memorial Gardens.
