Grady Gilstrap

Grady Roger Gilstrap, age 76 of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2014 at his residence. Mr. Gilstrap was born October 7, 1937, in Cleveland, Ga, to the late Fred and Annie Garmon Gilstrap. In addition to his parents, Mr. Gilstrap was also preceded in death by his brother, Harold Gilstrap. Survivors include brothers and sister-in-laws, Dean and Mary Gilstrap, Gainesville, Kenneth Gilstrap, Gainesville, Bobby and Virginia Gilstrap, Gainesville; sisters and brother-in-laws, Geneva Turner, Cleveland, Dorothy and William Shelnut, Greenville, SC, Jean and Donald Welborn, Cleveland; also a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, January 15, 2014, at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Junior Sosebee and Rev. Paul Flynn will officiate. Interment will follow at Alta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
