Grady Hal Pardue, age 92, of Cleveland, passed away on Monday, January 2, 2023. Mr. Pardue was born on March 20, 1930, in White County, to the late Grady and Mozell Hefner Pardue. He was a self-employed builder and a member of Mossy Creek United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, Hal was preceded in death by his son, Timothy Pardue; and brother, Vince Pardue. Survivors include his wife of 73 years, Jean Pardue; son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Dot Pardue, Cleveland; grandchildren, Hal and Holly Pardue, Cleveland, and Lacey and Blake Owen, Cumming; great-grandchildren, Kendall Pardue, Maddox Pardue, Caroline Owen, and Connor Owen; brothers, Dan Pardue, Pearson Pardue (Ruth), Allen Pardue (Betty), Kenneth Pardue (Linda), and Milt Pardue (Ann). The family would like to extend a special thank you to Hal’s caregivers, Connie, Tina, John, and Will of Accent Care. They would also like to thank Lanier Park Rehab Center and Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Thursday, January 5, 2023, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Gary Wilson and the Rev. Gary Heffner will officiate. Interment will follow in Mossy Creek United Methodist Church Cemetery. Thursday at the funeral home, prior to the funeral service.
