Grady Thomas

Grady Carl Thomas, age 66, of Cleveland, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026.

Mr. Thomas was born on January 10, 1960, in Gainesville, Georgia, to the late Grady C. "Rip" Thomas and Aline Kincaid. He worked in landscaping. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Jerome Pruitt, and grandmother Ruby Mizell.

Survivors include his wife, Myra Thomas, Cleveland; sister, Marlaner Trammell (Melvin); brothers, Terrance Wilson (Andrea), Dale Pruitt, Garnett Powell, Tony Thomas; step-sister, Denise Sosebee; Brother, Brian Teasley; sister-in-law, Bonnie Pruitt; beloved stepchildren, Craig, Chaz, and Miranda Trammell; aunts, Rev. Debra Straughter and Magaline Edwards; uncles, Charles Mizell and James "Fat" Thomas; brothers-in-law, Fred Dorsey (Winfred), Sheldon Dorsey (Pamela); a host of nieces and nephews, and dearest friends, Jerry Richardson, Charles Jackson, and Charles Head; special cousin, Vern Moore.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Sunday, March 15, 2026, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Bryan Sutton and Rev. James Singleton will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
