Grover Wayne Ravan

Mr. Grover Wayne Ravan, age 75, of Clermont, passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2022. Mr. Ravan was born in Gainesville to the late Grover “Rip” and Thelma Lawson Ravan. In addition to parents, he was preceded in death by brothers-in-law, Richard Allison and Mike Copeland. He was retired from Purina Mills and served his country in the US Army, serving in Vietnam. Survivors include wife, Linda Ravan, Clermont; daughters and sons-in-law, Sonya and David Kelley, Cleveland, and Holly and Robert Blanchard, Clermont; sisters, Wyndal Allison and Ruth Copeland, both of Gainesville; sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth and Pete Whelchel, and Sybil and Homer Durham, all of Gainesville; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Shelby Parker, Moody and Ruth Ann Shuler; grandchildren, Avery and Katie Blanchard, Andrew and Andrea Kelley, Zachary and Dana Kelley, Tristan Blanchard, Abigail, Hannah and Nicholas Kelley; 3 great-granddaughters and 2 great-grandsons. Funeral services are scheduled for 3 P.M. Saturday, February 12, 2022, from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. Rev. Steve Baker will officiate.
