Guy Edward Gerrin

Guy Edward Gerrin, age 80 of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, July 1, 2012 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Mr. Gerrin was born August 9, 1931 in Habersham County to the late Lester and Burchess McEntire Gerrin. He was a farmer and attended Bethesda Fellowship Church. He was preceded in death by his brothers Coy Lee Gerrin and Kenneth Gerrin. Survivors include his wife Dorothy Wade Gerrin; son and daughter-in-law, Ed and Sandra Gerrin, all of Cleveland; grandchildren, Lyle and Jessica Gerrin, Cleveland; Tyler and Dericka Millerstrom, Alaska; Timothy Gerrin, Cleveland; great grandchildren, Hannah Gerrin, Dakota Gerrin, both of Cleveland; brother, Barney Gerrin, Clarkesville; sisters and brothers –in-law, Betty and Leroy Smith, Cornelia; Janice and Tom Echols, Lula; Genelle and Monty Smith, Cornelia; sister, Linda Skelton, Demorest. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at Union Grove Congregational Holiness Church. The Rev. John Graham, the Rev. Clarence Reynolds and the Rev. Terry Benfield will officiate. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery with the Rev. Paul Flynn officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
