Gwendolyn Kirby

Gwendolyn Kirby age 89 of Clermont, passed away Thursday, November 27, 2025.

Mrs. Kirby was born in Clermont, GA to the late Buford and Juanita Satterfield. She worked in manufacturing and enjoyed decorating. Gwen was a member of Skitts Mountain Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles William Kirby; siblings, Adrian Satterfield, Betty Sills, Joan Milford and Wilma Rogers.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy and Neil Wells, Sheila and Jim Schumer; grandchildren, Tracy and Dan Waldrop, Tyler and Lauren Browning, Sam Wells, Brian and Jennifer Wells; great grandchildren, Peyton and Clint Crumley, Chase Waldrop, Luke Waldrop, Lewis Browning, Josephine Browning, Lilly Wells, Wyatt Wells; great great grandchild, Bailey Crumley; sister, Sharon Densmore; sister-in-law, Geneva Oliver.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Sunday, November 30, 2025 at Skitts Mountain Baptist Church. The Rev. Kyle Savage will officiate. Interment will follow at Skitts Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 3-6 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
