Gwendolyn Lunceford

Mrs. Gwendolyn Jackson Lunceford, age 86, of Dawsonville, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2019. Mrs. Lunceford was born on November 22, 1932, in Barnesville, Georgia, to the late Paul and Sarah Ridgeway Jackson. She worked as an executive secretary for The Coca-Cola Co. In addition to her parents, Gwendolyn is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Hugh Lunceford Sr., son, Jeffery Byron Lunceford; and brother, Paul “Bubby” Jackson. Survivors include daughters, Donna Lynne Whitfield (Steve), Conley, GA, Ginger Ethel Kovach (Charles), Dawsonville, and Sarah Rozanne McCarney (Joseph), McDonough, GA; sons, Philip Arthur Lunceford (Judith), Dawsonville and Rev. Donald Hugh Lunceford, Jr. (Laurie), Dallas, TX; brother, Arthur Jackson (Hattie); sister-in-law, Ellen Jackson; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Saturday, June 15, 2019 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Donald Hugh Lunceford, Jr. will officiate. Interment will follow at Mt.
