Harlan Gaige Payne

Baby Harlan Gaige Payne was born on February 15, 2024, at 5:43 A.M., to parents Cody and Heather Payne of Suches, Georgia. On March 20, 2024, at 8:23 A.M., he left this world to sit in Jesus’ lap and play on the streets of Heaven forever. Although just a short time on Earth, Baby Harlan touched many lives and left a lasting impact, letting his little light shine until he went to Heaven. He showed how to be a NICU warrior. Weighing only 1 pound 9 ounces, and being 12 inches long when he was born, he courageously fought day-by-day. Harlan enjoyed holding mommy and daddy’s hand, listening to mommy and daddy talk to him, and having his head and feet played with. Baby Harlan was loved by his parents; brother, Zaiden; sisters, Adalia, Julianna, and Olivia; his grandparents and great-grandparents; aunts and uncles; cousins; and so many others. Harlan will always remain mommy and daddy’s precious baby, Adalia’s twin brother, and Zaiden, Julianna, and Olivia’s little brother and they will hold him again in Heaven. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, March 30, 2024 from 2 until 3 PM. A memorial service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 3 PM with the Rev. Bobby Whitmire officiating. Barrett Funeral Home of Cleveland is in charge of arrangements.
