Harlen Joseph Robinson

Harlen Joseph Robinson age 85, of Cleveland, passed away on January 23, 2025. Harlen was born in Cleveland, GA to the late David “Dode” Robinson and Bonnie Sutton Robinson on June 12, 1939. He worked for many years at Ames Textile and then retired after 30 years from Mars Wrigley. Harlen loved tending to his garden, his antique cars and above all he loved his family, he will be missed dearly. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, J.C. Robinson, Hoyt Robinson, Bill Robinson and sister, Helen Allison, nieces and nephews, Debbie Cochran, Terry Allison, Ricky Robinson, Larry Robinson and Joey Hooper. Survivors include his wife, Joyce Turner Robinson; son and daughter-in-law, Galen and Amanda Robinson; grandchildren, Bentley Cronic, Bryson Robinson, Brinn Robinson; brother and sister-in-law, Coy and Joann Robinson; sister, Francine Hooper; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 PM Sunday, January 26, 2025, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Phillip Robinson, Rev. Jody Winkler and Rev. Ronnie Dockery will officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
