Harold Alvin Ayers

Mr. Harold Alvin Ayers, age 69, of Ila, passed away Friday, December 10, 2021. Mr. Ayers was born to the late Herman and Lois Turpin Ayers. In addition to parents, he was preceded in death by grandson, Austin Kitchens; and brothers, Leroy, Larry and Luther Ayers. He was a mechanic for Snyder Tire in Commerce. Survivors include daughters, Tabitha Kitchens, Michelle Hernandez, and Rachel Juan, all of Cleveland; sons, Timothy Ayers, Ila, Bradley Ayers, Cleveland, and James Ayers, Maysville; brothers, Marvin Ayers, Homer, Lamar Ayers, Homer, Ralph Ayers, Carnesville, and David Ayers, Commerce; sisters, Lucy Shore, Commerce, Betty Grizzle, Commerce, and Evelyn Blalock, Danielsville; and 10 grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 3 P.M. Monday, December 13, 2021 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Roger Tapia will officiate. Interment will follow at Liberty Cemetery.
