Harriet Elizabeth Larsen

Mrs. Harriet Elizabeth Larsen age 89 of Cleveland passed away Thursday December 23, 2010 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness. Mrs. Larsen was born in Hendersonville NC the daughter of the late Thomas Augustus and Mary Templin Simpson. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, James A. Larsen, and sister, Viola (K.J.) Simpson. Mrs. Larsen was a member of Helen Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Larsen’s sweet smile, common sense and wisdom touched many lives. She was on the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity, a member of Mountain Ivey Decorative Artists and an Elder at Helen Presbyterian Church. Survivors include her daughters, Karen Larsen Kimbrell, Sonya Larsen Crews; sons, Eric James Larsen, Dana Keith Larsen, Donavan Keith Larsen. Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Tuesday December 28, 2010 at Helen Presbyterian Church. The Rev. George Kaulbach will officiate. Interment will be in the Church Cemetery.
