Harry Andrew Sharpnack Sr.

Harry Andrew Sharpnack Sr., age 66 of Oakwood, passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at the Agape Hospice House. Mr. Sharpnack was born August 19, 1948 in Brownsville, PA to the late Wayne Franklin Sharpnack and Helen Virginia Stevenson Sharpnack. Mr. Sharpnack was Veteran of the United States Marine Corps having served in the Vietnam War. He was a Police Officer for 31 years having worked for many different Police Departments before retiring from the White County Sheriff’s Department. He was preceded in death by his brother Bernard Sharpnack. Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Sharpnack, Oakwood; sons, Steven Sharpnack, Lilburn; Harry Sharpnack Jr., Florida; step son, Billy Crance, North Carolina; step daughter, Whitney Crance, Oakwood; brother, Barry Sharpnack, Florida; sister, Lana Jo Sharpnack; 6 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services are scheduled for 1:00 PM Thursday, October 2, 2014 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. Pastor Dave Staton will officiate. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM Thursday prior to the memorial service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Lung Association, 55 W.
