Harvey "Monty" Montgomery Pert

Mr. Harvey “Monty” Montgomery Pert, 51 of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Pert was born in Clearwater, FL on July 21, 1958 to Harvey D. and Bobbie Harris Pert. He had worked as the maintenance supervisor at Skitts Mtn. Golf Course and in recent years was self-employed in the lawn business. Survivors include his wife: Kathy Daugherty Pert, Cleveland; son: Justin Pert, Cleveland; daughter: Rachael Pert, Cleveland; his parents: Harvey and Bobbie Pert, Clarkesville; sisters: Martha Velong, Palm Harbor, Fl and Carrie Williamson, Grayson. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 8, 2009 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home with Mr. Steve Williamson officiating with burial to follow in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery.
