Hassie Lorene Gunter

Mrs. Hassie Lorene Gunter age 87 of Cleveland passed away Sunday April 1, 2007 at a private Health Care Center following an extended illness. Mrs. Gunter was born in Hall County the daughter of the late Erby and Millie Armour Lawson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Gunter, son, Bobby Joe Gunter and daughter, Janice Dills. Mrs. Gunter was a homemaker and member of White Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include son and daughter in law, Artist and Polly Gunter, Fort Payne, AL; daughter and son in law, Janet and Carole McConnell, Cornelia: grandchildren, Allen Dills, Scott Gunter, both of Cleveland, Bobby McConnell, Cornelia, Tammy Alexander, Whitesburg, Penny Hunt, Bremen; 5 great grandchildren Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Tuesday April 3, 2007 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. W.A. Jenkins and the Rev. Mark Gunter will officiate. Interment will be in Center Baptist Church Cemetery.
