Hazel Hogan Bowen

Mrs. Hazel Hogan Bowen age 92 of Cleveland passed away Thursday February 14, 2008 at a Private Health Care Center following an extended illness. Mrs. Bowen was born in White County the daughter of the late Watson and Bertie Carpenter Hogan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Bowen, daughter, Lois Cannon, brothers, Hoyt Hogan, Wallace Hogan, sister, Gladys Irvin Rogers. Mrs. Bowen was a homemaker and member of Zion Interdenominational Church. Survivors include daughters, Blondine Freeman, Fredine Collins, both of Cleveland, Judy Terrell, Buford; son, Gary Bowen, Cleveland; brothers, Glen Hogan, Leroy Hogan, both of Cleveland; sister, Ernestine Ellett; 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday February 16, 2008 at Zion Interdenominational Church. The Rev. Gary Heffner and the Rev. Loyd Martin will officiate.
